Credit card payoff calculator

Plan the last statement.

Revolving cards price interest every month on the remaining balance. This calculator treats each card as its own debt — balance, purchase APR, minimum — then applies one monthly budget across the stack.

Your debts

Balances, APRs, minimums

Use the current statement balance, the purchase APR, and the minimum due. The plan runs entirely in this browser.

Include every minimum plus extra you can put toward debt this month.

Add at least one debt with a balance to compare avalanche and snowball.

How to read a card payoff plan

Use the statement balance, not the credit limit. Use the purchase APR unless you are strictly in a 0% promo window — then enter 0 and note the promo end date yourself. Minimums often drop as the balance drops; this tool keeps the minimum you typed so the estimate stays conservative.

If two cards share a similar APR, avalanche and snowball can look almost identical. Add the rest of the household debts if you want the extra payment to compete with a car note or personal loan.

PayoffPlan is not a credit counselor and does not place payments. Confirm the math with your issuer before you change what you send.
